ANARKIA - Phones NoMan

NoMen fans! Swell Maps fans! Come together with the first album by Phones NoMan! 

Phones Sportsman was a founding member of Swell Maps along with Nikki Sudden, Jowe Head and Epic Soundtracks. Now he has given up being a Sportsman and become a full time NoMan writing words & music and performing them with panache and style! This is a fourteen track album with songs ranging from electronic dub to Post-Punk with an occasional heart felt ballad. 

If you are familiar with the "Phones Sportsman Band" material that the NoMen were involved with between 2008 and 2023 you will know what to expect. Once described as "Avant Garde Cabaret" or "bizzare mixture of renewed old-school post-punk, disrupted disco, synth-vibes and extravagant madness!” or even "Like the Sex Pistols meets Teletubbies!” however people try to describe Phones’ music it’s clearly uncategorisable and very, very good! 

Phones NoMan sings and wrote the lyrics. The NoMen wrote and played the music.
